swinging in the rain

It's not a visit to Washington without the rain. We attempted a walk to the playground when it was sprinkling. Soon there was a good rain coming down and we had to race back to Grammy's house. It's a huge fight to get pants on my eldest daughter. I gave up and let her wear long socks.

Seriously one of the warmest things I brought to wear. It's July for crying out loud! Addie digs umbrellas. Especially pink Princess umbrellas. Addie said she didn't want a sweater with a "head coat" (a.k.a. hood). Bella didn't mind her head coat for a little while. Then she pulled it down.
