I am warning you now, this post is going to make you extremely jealous! Blue Mountain Spa is right around the corner from our apartment building (photo of our building above). It takes me all of about 30 seconds to walk from our door to the aromatherapy smelling Aussie inspired lobby of the day spa I have fallen in love with. Maybe I shouldn't call it a day spa. It's actually open from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Brilliant! Whoever owns this spa must have children and I believe all day spas in the States could learn a lesson from the business hours of this fabulous establishment. Wednesday night I put Addie to bed, kissed my husband goodbye, and walked around the corner for a deep cleansing hazel chamomile facial. It was wonderful and my skin looked gorgeous afterwards. Naturally, I booked my next appointment and vowed to follow the facialist's recommendations and come back monthly if not biweekly for additional treatments. How can I argue? It cost P725 ($18)! I'm hooked. On Sunday I tried out their foot spa, which is essentially a pedicure on steroids. It was P550 ($13) and lasted an hour and a half! paraffin wax, massage, hot stones, the works. I think I'm going to become a regular and Blue Mountain. See...I told you you'd be jealous.

Sounds like bliss. I've always wanted a hot rock massage but have never wanted to pay for it. They are so expensive. Heating me own rocks may work but I'm not sure how it would work. I'm glad you are getting some pampering. Love you!
