Heaven is a little place called Boracay

We've returned from paradise! Justin, Addie and I took our first family vacation this past weekend at the most beautiful beach I have ever experienced. Boracay Island, Philippines is paradise on earth complete with powdery white sands, palm trees, and crystal clear turquoise water. The island is located on the north tip of Panay province and about 3 hours from Manila. The flight was only 45 minutes but the journey includes shuttles and a ferry ride to the island. We stayed at Boracay Regency on White Beach. The beach was a few paces from the resort and everywhere you looked were gorgeous views. It was Addie's first trip to the beach where she got to play in the sand and water. We ate amazing seafood freshly caught off the island and drank mango and watermelon fruit shakes all weekend. It was a lovely getaway from the city. The entire weekend I took picture after picture and I have to share them so it will take multiple posts to get through the almost 4 days we were there. Most of the pictures here are of beautiful scenery. If you need convincing to come visit us in the Philippines, I'll let Boracay do the trick. Pure heaven.
