For the Fourth of July we took Addie to the Manila Ocean Park an aquarium on the Manila Bay. She was enthralled with the fish in the tanks and kept pointing to the next tank immediately after we stopped at one. The attention span of a 1 year old is so short that we got through the entire aquarium in 45 min. It's a good thing too since Addie hit the tired corner towards the end and you didn't want to be in earshot of this screaming child. 
We ate Indian Food for the Fourth and Korean the night after so we didn't partake in BBQ or something really American like burgers and hot dogs. We didn't even see any fireworks. It was an nontraditional 4th of July but we were thinking about it and in the States we always had an
